Job Description Summary

The Assistant Director works closely with the University Stewardship and Engagement Strategy and Principal Gifts teams to manage projects and implement programs to steward donors with a lifetime giving of $5 million or more. This position will help in strengthening institutional relationships with prospects and donors by assisting with and facilitating communications and invitation design, personalized stewardship plans, data tracking, recognition gifts, and special events.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide graphic design support for Engagement Strategy and Principal Gifts departments, as well as the broader Capital Giving unit.  Design invitations, emails and collateral materials for department events and stewardship needs.
  • Utilizing Adobe Creative suite, create layout and design for individual stewardship reports and special projects, including photo books, videos and email newsletters.
  • Manage department use of Marketing Cloud, iModules, Qwilr, and Cvent to create and distribute web-based content. Create emails, webpages, and event registrations. Send approved invitations and communications to various donor groups.
  • Assist with design and production of Academy membership roster, personalized greeting cards and other print needs as they arise. Work with outside vendors for printing and mail house needs. Handle mailings for unique donor gifts from the President and Capital Giving fundraisers.
  • Develop clear, concise written materials to brief University leadership, including the President and Board Chair, on events and other DAR-related activities.  This will include researching and analyzing information from a variety of sources and employing exceptional judgment to prioritize and synthesize information into written format.
