~ The Director, Genesis Sales Operations is responsible for overseeing and managing Genesis Sales and Retail Operations with related activities including, retail process performance, incentive programing, and dealer operations. Responsibilities will also include overseeing production/distribution planning and sales analytics/forecasting. Overall, the Director, Genesis Sales Operations will support field strategy and sales operations in achieving operational excellence.
Major Responsibilities
~ Develop the business strategies for Genesis sales (new and CPO) which includes sales forecasting, incentive budget planning, production planning, distribution, wholesale and retail process improvement.
~ Build strategies and initiatives to create and support improvements in customer sales satisfaction.
~ Lead development of new approaches for analyzing sales results by region and market, including post-program analysis of incentive program changes and other go-to-market changes (advertising, co-op, MSP, etc.).
~ Responsible for overseeing monthly sales analysis, by carline, to ensure optimal ordering mix.
~ Lead effective dealer communications and Retailer Advisory Board meeting content and coordination.
~ Strategize business plans for Genesis (new and CPO) sales.
~ Lead efforts in development and execution of Genesis Executive communication as it relates to all-dealer broadcasts.
~ Direct and provide feedback for new types of analysis and forecasting methodologies for the sales functions to optimize promotional resources to support achievement of sales volume and the market share objective.
~ Stay abreast of creation and standardization of monthly sales results/analysis, including market share and segment performance relative to Genesis’ competitive set and the overall industry.
~ Evaluate competitive programs and develop a perspective on the potential impact on the industry and Genesis performance through quantitative and logic-based analysis.
~ Supervise the creation and analysis of National and Regional sales programs and review sales performance at the National, Regional, and Dealer levels.
~ Develop and manage direct reports; provide development, training, coaching and direction to ensure employees are meeting requirements of position, including ensuring development for future opportunities.

Authority
~ Financial authority; check approvals, budget approvals, etc.
~ Authorization of purchasing/accounting documents associated with department.
~ Hiring and termination recommendations.
~ Performance management; annual personnel reviews, supervising, developing and mentoring department staff and direct reports.
~ Lead managing and overseeing department programing.
Education
~ Must be a high school graduate~ Bachelor’s degree preferred~ Master’s degree a plusRelated Experience
~ Fifteen plus years of experience with at least ten years of directly related automotive experience.
~ Five to seven years of supervisory experience desired.
~ Previous Director experience, required.
~ Luxury automotive experience desired.
Skills/Knowledge
~ Extensive knowledge of automotive retail operations including sales, finance, service and parts.
~ Abillity to develop innovative strategies to find breakthrough solutions for Luxury Automotive retailing.
~ Ability to understand/deliver results on complex projects on time and within budgetary guidelines.
~ Develop amd manage complex budgets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. Managerial accounting is a plus.
~ Exceptional written and oral presentation skills.
~ Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
