The Marketing Strategy, Planning, and Analysis (MSP&A) team aims to improve the efficacy and efficiency of activities across the Marketing org through detailed analysis, strategy development, and structured planning approaches. As the Sr. Analyst, MSP&A – Forward Planning, you will be assisting with acquisition strategies, audience prioritization, and growth of organic social.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Cross-Functional Audience Segmentation Process: Work across the Consumer Insights, Content Strategy, Content Marketing, Data Science, and other teams to drive the audience segmentation process and subsequent model refreshes. Communicate between stakeholders and the data science team to ensure a finished product that is comprehensive, user-friendly, and actionable.

Audience Prioritization: Use audience insights and survey data to inform go-to-market strategy. Conduct quantitative and qualitative analyses to identify audiences with the best market share and potential penetration for future content and marketing strategies.

Provide Audience Insights to Inform Campaigns: Work cross-functionally with the Content Marketing team to determine the best target audiences at the beginning of campaigns. Work with the rest of the MSP&A team to conduct postmortem quantitative and qualitative analyses. Summarize overall campaign performance and accuracy in targeting the recommended audiences.

Deep-Dive Audience Analyses: Perform ad hoc analyses using MRI Simmons, Nielsen, and YouGov to provide demographic and psychographic insights into audiences. Use quantitative and qualitative skills and communicate findings into actionable insights to help inform current and future campaigns.

Support Marketing Long Term Strategic Planning: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to conduct analyses scoping out how Peacock’s content library and upcoming slate matches can be prioritized to best grow Peacock. Using both internal and external data, provide guidance on Peacock’s content acquisition strategy.

Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of experience in a highly analytical role, preferably at a top agency or consultancy
  • BS/BA in mathematics, statistics, management, business, marketing, entrepreneurship, or a related field
  • Strong excel and data viz (e.g., PowerPoint) skills, programming skills a plus
  • Ability to create structure and recommend approaches to ambiguous business questions
  • Experience with consumer data surveys and platforms such as MRI Simmons, Nielsen, and YouGov is a plus
