Position Purpose

The Inventory Control & Planning Manager will be responsible for building a team that identifies opportunities within our case inventory and to build out processes ensuring our legal operation remains accurate to provide the best possible service to our clients.

Essential Job Functions & Responsibilities

·        Collaborate closely with leadership and cross functional teams to facilitate inventory control operations

·        Review case stages, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards, and implementing inventory control procedures

·        Own the capacity models to determine labor needs based off demand and forecasts

·           Define, measure, analyze, improve, and control processes to ensure cases remain visible and stay on track

·           Partner with leaders across the firm to identify inventory needs 

·           Build and direct a team to maintain inventory standards 

·           Build reports and dashboards to enhance visibility  

·           Use data to analyze and identify inventory needs

·           Create a culture of inventory accuracy to enhance the client experience

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Abilities

·           Experience in leading inventory control teams

·           Ability to develop and forecast capacity labor models

·           Strong computer skills, including Microsoft business applications and various reporting software

·           Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills

·           Possess a sense of urgency required to work in a deadline driven environment

·           Keen eye for detail

·           Strong organizational skills

·           Exceptional ability to build reports

·           Deep understanding of inventory control practices and terminology

Minimum Qualifications

·           Bachelor’s degree in relevant field

·           5+ years managerial experience

·           Supply chain experience with Lean principles preferred
