7am - 3:30pm/ Full Time/ 40 Hours 

Salary range - $15.75- $19.69

  

We're seeking a Perioperative Services Technician, Lead for Emory University Hospital, responsible for being a capable certified technician who cares about the quality of their work an ensuring the safety for all patients. 

This individual will:    

 

 

• Delegates assignments and adjusts work flow to meet the most important needs to maintain efficiency and timely services.
• Assists in training staff and communicating departmental policies and procedures.
• Assist with establishing on-call and holiday schedule coverage. Provides input on employee performance in job conferences. Performs assigned patient care and observation duties under the direction of a Manager.
• Performs duties involved with: cleaning, disinfection and trash removal, adherence to safety, security, and health guidelines, transporting patients, providing customer service by greeting and acknowledging patients, family members and staff.
• Prepares operating room for administration of anesthesia; sets up stocks and maintains specialty carts.
• Maintains equipment and related supplies in aseptic condition. Maintains stocks of supplies, drugs, and linens as needed before, during, and after surgeries. Performs other related responsibilities as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience as a Perioperative Tech or equivalent.
