The Sr Staff Software Engineer (Architect role) is responsible for providing technical leadership, insights, and motivation to a team of developers. The software architect is responsible for the technical design and implementation of WellSky solutions.
A day in the life!
You will be responsible for the following:
- Analyzing system requirements or specifications, translating them into actionable work units for the team to conceptualize and developing high quality software using the established coding standards and development best practices for critical areas of the business
- Leading and/or creating architecture and/or design as needed to meet the requirements, integrating disparate systems or managing changing technologies
- Leading large initiative while mentoring, teaching, guiding, and improving the productivity of other Software Engineers
- Conducting system analysis and proof of concepts to determine best design or solution
- Researching and recommending software tools/frameworks/products and/or emerging technologies as needed for a solution
- Capturing and analyzing performance test metrics and providing operational documentation
- Communicate complex technical concepts in an accessible way, connecting their impact on business processes and user experiences

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant work experience
- 10-12 years related work experience
- Mastery of .Net Core and C#
- Proficient in SQL
- Cloud Native Designs and Solutions
- Firsthand CI/CD experience
- Strong problem solving and communication skills

- Healthcare industry experience
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform
- PostgreSQL and SQL Server experience
- Microservices architecture experience
- Azure DevOps
