Position Overview:
As part of the talented Navico Group – Power Systems team, you will support a wide portfolio of marine and RV electrical products. You will work with the cross functional team to develop new innovative products for these markets.

- You will be the engineering lead for the NPD team. The NPD team will bring products from the conceptual phase, through design, prototype, qualification, and into production, following a phase gate development process.
- You will be expected to work and collaborate with global teams encompassing electrical engineering, industrial design, sourcing, manufacturing, marketing, and quality.
- You will work with product management to develop technical product requirements.
- You will develop detailed test plans and approve test plans created by others.
- You will lead design reviews of mechanical 3D CAD and 2D drawings.
Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree – Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 7 years of New Product Development experience.
- Proven success developing products using a phase gate process.
- Experience with marine, RV, or mobile electrical products.
- Proficient user of Creo and/or SolidWorks.
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
- Highly motivated team player.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with injection molded plastics and metal stamping.
- Experience developing products that meet UL, CSA, CE, and ABYC requirements.
- Experience with high voltage (48 VDC) systems.
- Hybrid office environment. Two to three days required in the office.
- Electrical test lab
- Travel 10% or less
The anticipated pay range for this position is $84,500-136,100 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus .
At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
