We need a Senior Accountant to jump in to help close the books, solve problems, and improve processes to ensure our accounting aligns with Pattern’s future objectives. What is a day in the life of a Senior Accountant?

  • Take ownership over accounting for our SaaS subsidiaries
  • Participate in other accounting projects throughout Pattern’s organizations
  • Complete monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings and reporting with appropriate GAAP treatment
  • Provide solutions to streamline/speed up month-end close
  • Assist with annual independent financial and statutory audits
  • Provide timely and accurate analysis of historical financials
  • Ensure that effective internal controls are in place to ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal and state regulations for financial and fiscal reporting
    • Provide the highest level of internal and external customer service, respond to internal and external inquiries regarding accounting related activities, and utilize judgment to address or escalate issues as necessary

    What will I need to thrive in this role?

    • BS in Accounting required
    • MAcc and CPA preferred
    • 1-2 years public accounting
    • Organized and analytical with relentless attention to detail
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Self-directed and willing to take ownership of responsibilities
    • Natural ability and desire to work on a team
    • Excellent professional communication skills
    • Ability to prioritize and multi-task based on current demands
