Waskowitz Outdoor Education Center is seeking multiple Residential Outdoor Educators to join our team for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year!
*Please note that this position is located onsite at Camp Waskowitz in North Bend, WA.
SUMMARY: This Outdoor Educator (OE) plays a key role in delivering nature-based, student-centered programs that connect students, families, and community members to each other and to the land. This position supports a range of programs offered by Waskowitz Outdoor Education Center including Outdoor School, Living History, High School Recruitment and Leadership, Middle School Programming, and customer service and educational programming for visiting rental groups. The OE also mentors high school leaders, facilitates hands-on learning for participants, and ensures the safety and well-being of all participants. Outdoor Educators are assigned responsibilities during Outdoor School: (Cabin Team or Trail Team) but are expected to be flexible in their responsibilities and scheduling depending on program needs. Each program has a different set of weekly hours. This is a 6 hour a day position. Additional hours can be added during outdoor school and other programs as needed.
