In this position...
The purpose of this critical role is to strategically own, define, and deploy enterprise-wide strategies to proactively manage and mitigate supply chain risks that could potentially impact Ford Motor Company’s global manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for leading and developing a high-performing organization, including Senior Managers and their teams, dedicated to resolving the most complex operational and financially distressed production supplier situations. You will develop and deploy comprehensive, data-driven risk mitigation frameworks aimed at protecting Ford’s Vehicle and Powertrain production plants worldwide. This role requires you to lead the execution of strategic interim and permanent corrective actions with suppliers, ensuring a robust and resilient supply signal to Ford Motor Company, in direct alignment with Ford’s Global Supply Chain Organization's strategic objectives. You will lead critical communications and strategic alignment across all levels of the organization, including executive leadership, cross-functional partners, and strategic suppliers, to safeguard production.
You Will...
Own, develop, and deploy the strategic vision, roadmap, and operational model for the Global Supply Operations organization, ensuring seamless integration with overall ONE Ford initiatives and global business objectives.
Lead the evolution and continuous improvement of the Supply Operations function, developing advanced capabilities, processes, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Develop and deploy a comprehensive framework for Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) across the Global Supply Operations organization, leading accountability and driving continuous improvement at all levels.
Own the strategic resolution of the most critical and systemic supplier issues that pose significant risk to global production, deploying advanced problem-solving methodologies and cross-functional task forces.
Own the enterprise response to supplier escalated triggers, ensuring rapid assessment, strategic communication, and the swift deployment of effective risk mitigation strategies across the organization.
Lead cross-functional collaboration efforts across Ford globally, developing integrated solutions and fostering alignment of resources to achieve the overarching goal of “No Lost Units” and optimize enterprise-wide resilience.
Own the overall strategic performance of the global supply base, developing and deploying robust supplier development and performance management programs that ensure suppliers consistently meet and exceed quality, delivery, and cost expectations.
Develop and deploy enterprise-level crisis management protocols and business continuity plans to effectively respond to and minimize the impact of significant supplier-related disruptions and emergencies.
Lead and develop strategic partnerships with key suppliers to foster innovation, drive process improvements, and deploy best practices that enhance overall supply chain resilience and deliver “No Lost Units.”
