THE ROLE:

Apollo is looking to add an Analyst to their Institutional Product Specialist Team. The role will support the Institutional Product Specialist effort, partnering closely with the Product Specialists, Institutional Sales teams and Product Management teams. The responsibilities of the role will include (but are not limited to) the following:

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES:

–Provide key fundraising support for the senior product specialist team

–Support fundraising processes in close partnership with Sales teams, such as mapping out key targets for fundraise

–Manage product specialist pipelines and monitor fundraising goals and budget for the year

–Liaise and communicate with COO team on various timelines, deadlines and product-based KPIs

–Create thoughtful follow up for meetings with investors in partnership with Sales, Product Management and Product Specialists

–Provide critical client support and follow up through coordination of materials and CRM database management in coordination with the Sales and Product Management Teams

–Coordinate deliverables and preparations for meetings for Product Specialists and Investment team members

–Develop thorough understanding of Apollo’s product suite

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS & PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:

–Bachelor’s degree with an excellent academic record

–Roughly 1-3 years of experience at an investment bank or alternative asset manager

–Working knowledge of finance and alternative investments preferred

–Strong writing skillset, including ability to synthesize complex financial concepts

–Team player with excellent interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with various groups

–Self-starter with a strong work ethic and a genuine willingness and desire to learn

–Strong organizational and follow-through skills; ability to manage multiple projects

–Capacity to discreetly handle sensitive and confidential information

–Driven, strong passion for self-improvement

–High integrity and professionalism

–Demonstrated strong analytical and quantitative skills
