EFS<p></p><p></p><p>An exciting opportunity has become available to join <b>Boeing Poland as a Senior DevOps Specialist </b>based in <b>Gdansk, Poland for the Boeing Defense, Space, and Security (BDS) organization.</b></p><p></p><p><b>Position overview:</b></p><p>We are a product led analytics group within <b>BDS </b>transforming the way business is run using <b>artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI&amp;ML)</b>. We are a dynamic team of data scientists, data engineers, and software developers solving many challenges and puzzles of our rapidly evolving technical stack.</p><p></p><p>We’re seeking a <b>Senior DevOps </b>who is ready to work with new technologies and architectures in a forward-thinking group that’s always pushing boundaries. This person will have complete, end-to-end responsibilities of AI&amp;ML-derived products and features. The ideal candidate has experience building products across the stack and a firm understanding of web frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back-end languages. The <b>Senior DevOps</b> will join a small team that uses new technologies, tools, and capabilities to solve challenges for both the front-end and back-end architecture, ultimately delivering great products for our users.</p><p></p><p>As a <b>Senior DevOps, </b>the job holder will join the <b><span>Data Analytics Digital Integration</span></b><b> Poland Team </b>consisting of highly skilled, high performing team members supporting multiple product lines across Boeing.</p><p></p><p><b>Hiring details:</b></p><ul><li><p>This requisition is for a locally hired position in Poland. Benefits and pay are determined at the local level and are not part of Boeing U.S. based payroll</p></li><li><p>This position is <b>hybrid</b>. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform <b>2 days per week onsite </b>at office in Gdansk. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future</p></li></ul><p><br/><b>Position responsibilities</b></p><ul><li><p>Automate Infrastructure Provisioning: Use Terraform and AWS CloudFormation to provision infrastructure, including EC2, RDS, and Lambda functions</p></li><li><p>CI/CD Pipeline Setup &amp; Improvement: Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines in GitLab for efficient application deployment and code integration.</p></li><li><p>Developer Portal Setup: Create and maintain a developer portal to provide resources for developers, including documentation, deployment status, and system health</p></li><li><p>RDBMS Deployment &amp; Management: Automate the deployment of RDBMS (e.g., Amazon RDS, Aurora) and integrate it into the data pipeline for efficient management of transactional and analytical data</p></li><li><p>Raw and Enriched Data Model Automation: Automate the creation, transformation, and integration of raw and enriched data models to the data lakehouse</p></li><li><p>Monitoring &amp; Logging: Implement AWS CloudWatch for real-time monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure the health and performance of all deployed systems</p></li><li><p>Pipeline Optimization: Continuously improve the deployment pipelines for faster, more reliable, and secure deliveries</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):</b></p><ul><li><p>7+ years of professional experience</p></li><li><p>Existing rights to work in Poland</p></li><li><p>English proficiency</p></li><li><p>Experience with AWS GovCloud environments, and knowledge of FedRAMP, NIST, and AWS security best practices</p></li><li><p>Hands-on experience in deploying and managing RDBMS solutions (e.g., RDS, Aurora), database migration strategies, and integration with cloud-based data lakes</p></li><li><p>Proven experience with GitLab CI for building, testing, and deploying applications, including Docker container integration and cloud deployment</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred qualifications</b></p><ul><li><p>Expertise in Terraform or AWS CloudFormation for provisioning cloud infrastructure</p></li><li><p>Experience with AWS CloudWatch for monitoring, logging, and setting up alerts for performance and security</p></li><li><p>Experience automating ETL pipelines using AWS Glue, Step Functions, and other AWS data services</p></li><li><p>Deep understanding of IAM, KMS, encryption, and compliance with AWS GovCloud security standards</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Join us if you want to: </b></p><ul><li><p>Market competitive salary and performance-based incentive program</p></li><li><p>Have flexible working hours </p></li><li><p>Enjoy additional paid days off for Christmas break (December 24th-January 1st) </p></li><li><p>Broaden your experience in international software projects, technical workshops, and hackathons</p></li><li><p>Develop professional skills with our virtual learning tools and platforms </p></li><li><p>Benefit from Learning
