Senior Repair Technician

Repairs and tests mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies. Works from drawings, sketches, wiring diagrams and written or oral instructions to understand and perform repair and / or test activity. Ensures work meets established technical, product and quality requirements. <li>Provides product repair for more complex mechanical and electro-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies.</li> <li>Applies technical understanding and experience to diagnose, assess and resolve difficult equipment and operational issues.</li> <li>Uses advanced trades mathematic along with complicated drawings, specifications, charts, tables, handbook formulas and other precision measuring equipment and tools.</li> <li>Monitors technical and process issues, proactively informing the manager and / or team and offering improvement suggestions.</li> <li>Contributes to the enhancement / modification of existing equipment and procedures.</li> <li>Assists with implementation of improvement methods and procedures for improved cost and / or quality.</li> <li>Provides on-the-job instruction and technical assistance to less experienced team members.</li> <b> <p>Required Qualifications</p></b> <li>Education or equivalent work experience required.</li> <li>Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in Repair Technician.</li> <li>Good verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Experience with mechanical/electro-mechanical assembly.</li> <li>High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.</li> <p></p> <p><span>Why should you join Diebold Nixdorf?</span><span></span></p> <p><span>Brightest minds + technology and innovation + business transformation  The people of Diebold Nixdorf are 23,000+ teammates of diverse talents and expertise in more than 130 countries, harnessing future technologies to deliver personalized, secure consumer experiences that connect people to commerce.
