Data Analytics Manager (Tech Hub)

ManpowerGroup Greece, on behalf of its client, a Fortune 500 firm, leader at its domain, is looking for a Data Analytics Manager for their Athens' Tech Hub. 

Our client has a Tech Hub in Athens with more than 60 employees and the Hub provides IT Services across all corporate functions of the organization in Europe & the USA. 

📌Location: Athens, North sector (walking distance to metro station) 

📍 Working Model: Hybrid working model (3 days office, 2 remote)  

🖋️You will be reporting to the Hub’s IT Manager (locally) and to the Director of the Applications Systems Development (dotted/globally). 

What you will do: 

The role is responsible is responsible for managing a team of technical, data, and analytics professionals (approx. team of 10). Team is responsible for all facets of the Data and Analytics function, of Corporate Function related requests, on a global level 

The scope of technologies and processes supported include but are not limited to Power BI development/support, Data Warehouse design and management, Azure Synapsis development/support, and SQL administration. You would need to have previous technical exposure and hold relevant knowledge in Data Analytics / Data Engineering. 

Overall, your role will be to handle all Data related projects, manage the team, liaise with internal & external stakeholders and deliver the Projects on time   

More specifically, you will: 

• Direct the progress of all Data and Analytics related projects working with IT Project Managers, Business Analysts, Business Stakeholders and the Enterprise Analytics team. 
• Ensure alignment of priorities across business functions and strategic initiatives by understanding the drivers that enable success and business growth for the business.  
• Effectively manage analytics resources across production support and project activities 
• Provide guidance on project delivery approach, defining success criteria, communication plans, resource plans, etc. 
• Assist in the analyzing, designing, developing and testing analytical applications/solutions 
• Drive the Data and Analytics Architectural Strategy 
• Represent the organization toward third parties including managing the offshore supplemental consulting staff 

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (preferred) or overall STEM  
• 6+ years of overall experience in IT development and/or analytics 
• 3+ years of experience working as a Manager/ Project Leader of IT teams 
• 3+ years of experience in delivering Projects 
• Experience with Power BI or similar Analytics Visualization tool is a must have 
• Experience with Data Warehouse, ETL 
• Experience in Requirement Analysis  
• Experience in the following topics will be considered a very strong asset 
• Managing large teams with remote workers/consultants 
• Project Management techniques 
• Experience with Data Lakes  
• Solid experience in managing teams in a complex, matrix organization 

Benefits

✔️ 55k – 65k gross per annum, depending on skillset and experience
