We are currently searching for a talented Senior level Civil or Environmental Engineer / Project Manager to join and grow with our Wastewater Engineering team! This position is open to individuals located in close proximity of the Piedmont Triad area (Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point), of North Carolina, or the western area (Richmond, Charlottesville, Roanoke, Blacksburg) of Virginia.

This Opportunity:

  • Manage wastewater infrastructure projects and project teams to support the planning, design, and construction of wastewater treatment, pumping, distribution, storage or conveyance projects
  • Develop creative solutions to complex wastewater treatment and conveyance challenges, working closely with our team of engineers, designers and other professionals
  • Collaborate with multi-discipline teams to deliver innovative project solutions
  • Maintain close relationships with clients throughout development of projects and after completion
  • Manage and mentor junior level staff
  • Build and strengthen client relationships

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering, or a related field
  • Licensed Professional Engineer
  • Experience managing multi-discipline infrastructure projects
  • Experience in the design and construction of municipal, state, federal, or industrial wastewater treatment projects
  • Proven understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices
  • Solid knowledge of wastewater treatment systems, equipment, and regulations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Residence in close proximity of the Piedmont Triad area (Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point), of North Carolina, or the western area (Richmond, Charlottesville, Roanoke, Blacksburg) of Virginia.
  • Eight (8) years of experience designing and/or managing wastewater treatment or conveyance projects
  • Knowledge of regional wastewater issues and familiarity with the municipal government client base
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to scope and budget new wastewater facility projects and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
