Meet the Team:
The Airbus Helicopters Flexrotor Program offers one of the most sophisticated small tactical unmanned aerial systems (STUAS) with vertical take-off and landing (VTOL). It can be used day or night by US and allied forces for a diverse range of intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance (ISTAR) on land and at sea.

Your Challenges:
● Assemble and test production engines, fuel tanks, and ignition systems.
● Assemble, test and calibrate production rotor systems and related components.
● Perform propulsion systems development, fabrication, and assembly.
● Troubleshoot failure modes and provide photo documentation.
● Operate manual machine tools, rill, lathe, mill, dyno etc.
● Align, fit or assemble propulsion system component parts, using hand or power tools.
● Maintain part inventory and order replacement inventory as needed.
● Review of documentations including drawing, schematics, and Bill of materials.
● Assisting with manufacturing/ production / quality process improvement.
● Develop work instructions, test procedures and quality documentation.
Your Boarding Pass:
● High school diploma or equivalency.
● 5 years of relevant experience.
● Experience designing test setups related to mechanical systems.
● Understanding of electro-mechanical systems, such as engine test stands, etc.
● Experience with data acquisition systems.
● Fundamental understanding of two stroke engines and fuel systems.
● Experience with tools and equipment related to engines.
