Peraton requires a Systems Engineering Technical Lead Subject Matter Expert to support the Special Operation Command Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) – 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order. The Systems Engineering Technical Lead works directly with the SITEC 3 EOM Enterprise Deputy Program Manager in executing requirements to meet and exceed performance objectives associated with the program. This position is located at MacDill AFB, FL.

 

The purpose of the Special Operations Forces Information Technology Enterprise Contract (SITEC) 3 Enterprise Operations and Maintenance (EOM) Task Order (TO) is to provide USSOCOM, its Component Commands, its Theater Special Operations Commands (TSOCs), and its deployed forces with Operations and Maintenance (O&M) services to maintain Network Operations (NetOps); maintain systems and network infrastructure; provide end user and common device support; provide configuration, change, license, and asset management; conduct training, and perform Install, Move, Add, Change (IMACs) services. The responsibilities and tasks associated with each requirement play a pivotal role to USSOCOM, the CIO/J6 organization, and ultimately the end-user who operate around the globe 24x7x365.

 

The System Engineer Technical Lead provides technical support at the Subject Matter Expert level in executing SITEC 3 EOM requirements. The Systems Engineering Technical Lead must be detail- oriented and have in-depth knowledge of secure data platforms, hardware and software environments, architecture and engineering design, development, and deployment. Extensive experience in areas such as systems design and implementation, systems integration, cybersecurity, ports and protocols, as well as server and network infrastructures are required. The Systems Engineering Technical Lead will oversee testing, evaluation, inspection and analysis of secure data implementations, system interoperability, asset and configuration integrations, systems operational impact, engineering courses of action (COAs), and service management across multi-network environments and enclaves, including power, software, hardware, cybersecurity protocols, and unified communications, and is responsible for the overall integration of enterprise systems. As technical lead you will be responsible for planning, modeling, simulation, design, installation, maintenance, management, and coordination of systems solutions. Additionally, you are expected to continuously monitor and control, manage lead-times, oversee operational dependencies and interdependencies of the performance and status across systems resources, using software and hardware tools, as well as, by identifying and diagnosing complex problems and factors affecting system performance. As the Systems Engineering Technical Lead you must keep your technical skills updated and partner with industry-leading vendor technology suites to determine the best fit for the Government’s needs. Advising and collaborating across multi-enterprise, Component, TSOCs and tactical platforms, demonstrating technical guidance, operational direction, and producing mission-impactful products while serving in this position.

 

Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Directly working hand-in-hand with the SITEC 3 EOM Enterprise Deputy Program Manager in conducting technical activities associated with Systems Engineering in the EOM of the SIE.• Support leading a dynamic, diverse technical team for secure Enterprise IT Operationsdelivery.• Assist in design, development, and deployment of Enterprise network operations, including but not limited to, systems and infrastructure architecture and engineering, interface planning, software and hardware resource availability, and the development of new applications.• Engineer and lead enterprise systems solutions spanning multiple industry-leading vendorproduct suites.• Providing dedicated, on-site support for systems engineering and implementation practice.• Continuously monitoring operations for trends and anomalies and performance indicators.• Identify industry-best-fit applications and network device support to effectively secure transport across the Enterprise, Components, and TSOCs.• Ensuring engineering tasks and enterprise IT solutions comply with accreditation, certification, and connection standards for USSOCOM, Component Commands, TSOCs, and deployed forces’ networks and systems.• Providing Assessment and Authorization (A&A) support; engineer solutions to ensure theyinclude sound network security and design; and provide project management support services.• Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and frequent coordination withassociated Enterprise Divisions, Branches and Departments.• Collaborate with industry, the Government, supply carriers, and technical staff on systems imple
