The Division of Student Affairs (DSA) exists to support and further the mission of the University by developing, delivering, and advocating for services and programs that unite and support students’ academic and life pursuits. DSA is one of the largest divisions at the University of North Texas and includes Assessment, Housing and Residence Life, The Eagle Engagement Center, Recreational Sports, Career Center, Office of the Dean of Students, Student Health & Wellness, Counseling & Testing, Student Activities, The Center for Leadership Development, Auxiliary Services, Dining, Sustainability, Veteran Services, TRiO, and more.
Position Overview
This position will play a crucial role in helping students develop leadership skills, adapting to workforce needs, fostering partnerships with colleges to bridge the curricular and co-curricular experience, and overseeing Fraternity and Sorority Life at UNT.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field and six years of professional experience that is conducive to both leadership development and supporting fraternities and sororities; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

* Ability to respond to crisis situations swiftly, professionally, and accurately.
* Knowledge of student affairs mission and ability to help position division to effectively support student success.
Preferred Qualifications
The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications: Masters degree in Higher Education, College Student Personnel, or an equivalent degree program. Six years of direct Fraternity Sorority Life experience. Experience supervising fulltime employees. Experience managing budgets.
Required License/Registration/Certifications
Job Duties:
- Provides strategic oversight for all programs and services designed to create a comprehensive leadership experience for students, including the oversight of Fraternity and Sorority Life.
- Provides direct supervisor to 4 full-time staff members and indirect supervision to an additional full-time staff member, 3-4 graduate assistants, and multiple student assistants/leaders.
