Purpose of Role

Purpose: Provide tutoring for peers in select biology and/or chemistry courses.

About This Opportunity

Joining our Academic Support and Engagement team, the 1-2-1 Nursing Academic Coach will be responsible for the following:

• Participate in training.
• Meet with students one-on-one or in small groups via Zoom or face to face.
• Complete detailed session report forms in timely manner.
• Communicate with Director of Academic Support and Engagement and instructors of courses. coaching to assist in meeting students' needs.
• Reliability in showing up on time for sessions and checking Daemen email account for communication from students, Director, and instructors.
• $15.00 per hour.

Required Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in Daemen University's 1-2-1 Nursing Program.
• Must have been recommended by faculty member in the program.
