Job Description

NBCUniversal is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and highly detailed professional to serve as the Vice President, Audit and Policy Governance for NBCU’s Operations & Technology Division (O&T).  The ideal individual will provide executive leadership for corporate audit partnerships developing the strategy and execution plan for O&T-wide audit management including cross functional program development and implementation. You will develop and manage audit intake that effectively assigns, manages, and tracks multiple commitments across O&T and provide regular status reporting to the executive team. You will work directly with leaders across the O&T portfolio, executive leadership from our global audit team, and business leaders across our operations. 

Responsibilities: 

• Develop a strategy and process for tracking audit activity including scope, outcomes, deliverables, progress against action items and reporting including identifying the resources necessary to effectively achieve critical deliverables. 
• Establish and maintain internal audit and business leader partnerships across Operations & Technology, NBCUniversal and Comcast.
• Conduct audit Management including audit implementation & oversight, audit documentation, cross functional alignment, audit finding reviews, response solutioning, and risk mitigation plans.
• Manage audit and compliance documentation, keep track of maps and action items, track implementation plans & progress, create reporting dashboards, work across organizations to ensure compliance and alignment, and engage remediation of identified issues through follow-up. 
• Collaborate with cross-organizational leaders to ensure timely resolution of audit findings and recommend practical solutions/remediation.
• Drive continuous process improvement working with business clients across portfolio to address gaps in process documentation and make recommendations for improvement.
• Provider governance, controls, and reporting to business leaders and operators involved in audit reviews.
• Establish standards and implement procedures to ensure that the audit programs are effective and efficient to identify, prevent, detect, and correct areas of noncompliance.
• Review new and existing policies and participate in policy-making efforts across O&T

• Project Management expertise and experience. 
• Detailed oriented, task master and communicator. 
• Manages work with practicality and wisdom during competing priorities and diverse personalities.  
• Ability to influence internal team members without direct reporting authority. 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Customer service oriented
• BA/BS in business, computer science preferred or other technical field or appropriate work experience.
• 5+ years of applicable experience in a technology environment, preferably for a large company.
