RESPONSIBILITIES

We are the Digital Factory of the Agricultural Solutions department at BASF, driving digitalization. 
We are committed to creating a connected data organization and invite you to join us in our mission to achieve Data Transparency. By supporting us in the development of easily understandable and valuable Data Models for our agricultural business, you will play a crucial role in establishing a strong foundation for data management and governance in the future. 

• As part of the Governance coordination team, you provide insights and guidance to the different members of the data community enabling them to perform their roles.
• You support the continuous improvement and change management related to the implementation of the different data governance guidelines, frameworks and rules defined by Data Governance.  
• You propose and implement the communication strategy to reach all the members of the data community with the Data Guidelines, Frameworks and standards that are defined at the global level. 
• In addition, you conduct audits that review data governance and proper data handling on prioritized projects or regions based on business needs, strategy, or a specific requirement. 
• You work together with all the other members of the Data Governance and Strategy team to identify opportunities for improvement for handling data across the unit. 

QUALIFICATIONS

• degree in Business Administration, Information Management, Data Analytics or a business-technology related discipline
• several years of project experience
• excellent understanding in analysis methods, project controlling and Data governance
• profound in the use of Data management systems and the IT environment
• fluent in English and German

• Gross annual salary (full-time): 43.000 - 47.000 €, depending on qualifications and professional experience. In addition, you can expect a bonus depending on the success of the company and individual performance.
