The Opportunity:

CACI is currently hiring a remote Oracle Applications Database Administrator with experience in DoD the workspace.


The desired candidate will perform application and database management and maintenance activities in support of a multi-instance Oracle RDBMS environment part of an Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) R12 integrated Department of Defense (DoD) multi-Agency program. As a professional in CACI's growing ERP Solutions, the candidate will be part of a team where complex problem solving, and communication skills are critical to success. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and Oracle matrixed cross functional resources to ensure production uptime service levels are maintained and made available per requirements that include backup, recovery, refresh, performance tuning, and security.

Responsibilities:


•    Support routine maintenance including problem defect analysis and resolution, space, storage, object management, physical database layout, rollback segment management, and temporary space management.
•    Support and monitors system performance diagnosing software and hardware failures to resolution.
•    Support service outages, including backups and restores.
•    Support patch management and distribution capabilities to prevent new threats and minimized physical infrastructure impacts .
•    Perform data cleansing services, verify data integrity, and implement access controls.
•    Support database configuration, monitoring, and tuning.
•    Support logs and alerts, access rights and roles, database instance version control, new IDs, roles, authorizations, audits, locked/unlocked status, revocation.
•    Performs memory usage monitoring, database parameter configuration, database resources, I/O distribution.
•    Support system health, maintenance, technical security, recovery, and basic application technical tuning.
•    Support Oracle Critical Upgrades and patch management schedules.
•    Support testing and fielding efforts.
•    Supports Systems Development, Migration, and Integration efforts.

Qualifications:

Required: 

•    Bachelor’s degree plus three years of IT experience, preferably with large-scale Oracle ERP sustainment projects.
•    Prior experience with Agile Development Methodologies.
•    Performance tuning development experience.
•    Experience using WebLogic for Oracle EBS R12.2 web tier and Oracle OEM13c to manage and monitor environments.
•    Experience with installation and support of Oracle RAC, SuperCluster, R12.2 and 19c database on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
•    Experience upgrading Oracle databases.
•    Able to obtain an IT-II background investigation.
•    COMPTIA Security Plus certification.

Desired:


•    Prior Oracle EBS Federal Financial Management experience supporting DoD customers.
•    Working knowledge of maintaining DoD security Standards and Rules, including those related to the databases (e.g., Oracle CPU patching, access management, direct grant, db links, etc.).
•    Relevant technical certifications to include Security+, OCP, ITIL, etc.
•    Relevant Agile certifications to include SAFe, etc.
•    Experience with security monitoring, managing, and testing, such as IAVA's, patches, STIGs, etc.
•    Active Secret clearance.
