With over 19,500 associates, it’s the largest software development center of Bosch, outside Germany, indicating that it is the Technology Powerhouse of Bosch in India with a global footprint and presence in the US, Europe and the Asia Pacific region.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p><strong><u>Senior Software Developer SAP ABAP for HANA:</u></strong></p><p>As a senior developer, primary responsibility is to design, build, test and deployment of functionalities in Bosch Product Backbone (BOP). This product is an application used by all division of Bosch worldwide. One of the components of this product is the System Independent Material master (SIMAT). The SIMAT is a golden record calculated with complex rules in AMDP and CDS using S4/HANA core functionalities.</p><p>Tasks for this role include:</p><ul><li>Should be able to understand the business needs and design and implement the requirements in SAP ABAP, BRF+, AMDP and CDS views.</li><li>Migration of this functionality to S/4 HANA system has started. You will redesign and optimize the coding according to possibilities in S4/HANA, develop application specifications and associated code.</li><li>Ability to be able learn and understand the business processes and to improve efficiency and performance of current application using new technologies.</li><li>Analyze and evaluate the requirements for application enhancement with customer and senior architects to validate the completeness of requirement from implementation perspective</li><li>Solve business issues by analyzing existing code and proposing solutions using SAP S/4 HANA Services.</li><li>Prepare technical design documents for unit testing and integration support. Ensure the quality reviews (Unit test) are conducted.</li><li>Participate in project quality management tasks such as peer and quality reviews of specifications, design documents and code reviews.</li><li>Driving quality and standards in our software engineering community, providing and discussing innovative solution approaches and suggestions for improvement in the development</li><li>Work closely with Architects and IT Development Leads to ensure successful completion of User Stories within committed timeframe</li><li>Ability to represent and argue the technical and implementation decisions to the architects and the customer.</li><li>You are on eye level with customers and able to provide on-spot consultation.</li><li>Develop application specifications, associated code and prepare technical design documents for unit testing and integration support</li><li>Write end user documents,  document using UML/TOGAF in Sparx Enterprise Architect and train end users to operate new or modified programs</li><li>Continually enhance existing skills and seek new areas for personal development</li><li>3rd Level Support within own component in case of defects are not found in your quality assurance but occur on productive system</li><li>Provide knowledge transfer to new team members and mentor them.</li><li>Help other team members to find technical solutions or resolutions and review their code before code release.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p>BE / B.Tech / MCA / MBA-IT</p><h3>Additional Information</h3><p>6+ years of hands-on development experience on S/4HANA, AMDPs and CDS views.</p><p>Programming languages and skills:</p><ul><li>ABAP (Other languages of advantage)</li><li>UML/TOGAF</li></ul><p>Development experiences : </p><ul><li>Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP)</li><li>ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP)</li><li>Business modeling rule framework (BRF+)</li><li>Good knowledge in technical areas like CDS Views, AMDP, OOPs concept, Web services, ADBC concepts, RFC, and FPM</li><li>Workflow Management</li><li>In particular knowledge of databases features (S/4HANA) </li></ul><p>Business Processes</p><ul><li>MDM processes in Material master incl.
