Department: Pharmacy
Schedule: 7 on 7 off, Monday-Sunday 9:30a-8:00p
Hospital: UAB St Vincent's East
Location: Trussville, AL

What You Will Do

Perform activities or tasks in specialty pharmacy services. Perform specialized areas as medicine history, buyer and other inventory related areas, nuclear, and PAP as a pharmacy technician.

Refill and maintain automated dispensing system.
Prepare orders and maintain inventory for the specialty pharmacy areas.
Repackage bulk medications.
Receive and store incoming supplies.
Serve as a liaison between pharmacy, patient and health professionals by providing necessary information

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Pharmacy Tech credentialed from the Alabama Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate'sdegree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
