We drive S&P Global Ratings by leveraging technology and data science, to provide the insights, software and data to help our customers make better informed decisions, driving growth, performance and efficiency.
Responsibilities and Impact:
- Collaborating with teammates during technical designs
- Helping size and groom Agile stories
- Learn and adopt SAFE software development practices as part of our SDLC
- Collaborate with colleagues in design, product management, and systems architecture to develop solutions and bring great ideas to life
- Participate in team code reviews and trainings
- Demo completed work to stakeholders
Compensation/Benefits Information: (This section is only applicable to US candidates)
S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $20 to $30. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
This role is not eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus or sales commission plan.
What We’re Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
- Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field of study associated with Software Engineering completed no later than May 2025
- Demonstrated passion or interest in one or more of our key industries
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- An aptitude to learn and adapt quickly in a rapidly changing environment
- Intellectual curiosity and desire to learn new things, techniques, and technologies
- The ability to build strong working relationships in a collaborative setting
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of web Technologies like HTML, JavaScript, CSS, JQuery, React
- Basic Understanding of the concepts of RESTful web services
- In-depth knowledge of code versioning tools like Git
- Understanding of building tools (Maven, and Gradle)
