The Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for general accounting including preparing journal entries, maintaining balance sheet schedules and ledgers and account reconciliations. Assist with monthly closings, account analysis and support the Controller in carrying out the responsibilities of the accounting department.

Job Responsibilities
- Monthly customer invoicing (including international customers and collaborating with supplier portals to submit invoices).
- Collaborate cross-functionally with legal, sales, and customer support teams regarding customer contracts.
- Review customer contracts for company/GAAP ASC 606 compliance.
- Responsible for customer collections using current Accounts Receivable management software.
- Maintain user access to Accounts Receivable management software.
- Regular review of reserve for uncollectable accounts.
- Other Accounting duties as needed including but not limited to Journal Entries and Account Reconciliations.
Experience/Skills Required
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or in Business with emphasis in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Minimum 3+ years of accounting experience.
- Working knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
- Knowledge in customer invoicing systems such as ASC 606(Revenue Recognition) and ASC 326-20(CECL) is a plus.
- Prior Accounts Receivable experience desired.
- Prior financial reporting experience a plus.
- Must have great attention to detail and be self-motivated.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines and work independently or as a team.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working in an ERP system a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
