Job Summary:

As an Safety Associate at Retail Rebel, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a secure environment, preventing theft, and ensuring the safety of our customers and employees. You will be the first point of contact for our customers, providing them with a sense of security and assistance when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and patrol the retail premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure the safety of the premises. 
• Provide a visible presence to deter theft and maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Respond to alarms and respond to disturbances promptly and efficiently.
• Manage crowd control and maintain orderly conduct among customers, especially during peak shopping hours or special events.
• Report incidents, accidents, or security breaches to management, ensuring detailed documentation is completed.
• Assist customers and employees in emergency situations.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to security and safety.
• Available to work rotating shifts and locations.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a security role, preferably in a retail environment, is highly desirable.
• Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful situations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to stand and patrol for extended periods.
• Availability to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Must have access to reliable transportation.

Compensation:

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour based on experience
