About the role

Description

  The Accounts Receivable Manager will be responsible for the overall management of Company’s insurance accounts receivable team including planning, directing, coordinating and evaluating the day-today operations. The Accounts Receivable Manager is accountable for timely and accurate reimbursement and meeting performance-based goals. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with VP of RCM to      establish financial goals and objectives for the department. 
  • Lead, develop and retain a team of      insurance accounts receivable specialists.
  • Foster a culture of continuous      improvement and professional development within the team. 
  • Develop and execute strategies to      maximize cash flow, reduce outstanding receivables and bad-debt write off.      
  • Identify and implement process      improvements to streamline insurance claims processing and maximize      revenue. 
  • Regularly prepare and review      detailed reports on accounts receivable status. 
  • Analyze data to monitor and      evaluate the effectiveness of accounts receivable strategies. 
  • Provide insights and      recommendations to executive leadership based on data analysis.
  • Enhance relationships with      insurance providers to ensure efficient and effective communication.
  • Conduct routine audits, record      results and implement an action for areas that require improvement. 
  • Work closely with other departments      to ensure cohesive and coordinated efforts across the organization.
  • Ensure accounts receivable      activities comply with industry regulations and standards. 
  • Stay informed about industry trends      and best practices in insurance accounts receivable management. 

Requirements

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in behavioral health.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within healthcare finance, specifically in insurance accounts receivable.
  • Deep understanding of insurance billing and reimbursement processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Knowledge of ABA services and prior relevant experience within the field is a plus.

Basic & Physical Requirements

Must be able to maintain prolonged periods of working on a computer while sitting at a desk and attending virtual meetings


Job Type: Exempt, Full-Time,
