Maintenance Mechanic - Stamping Press

Description

FIC America Corp is recruiting for a Stamping Press Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair a variety of stamping machines and equipment. 

Essential Job Functions

• At FIC, safety is priority #1. Must comply with all governmental and company safety rules & regulations.
• Demonstrates ability to work in a multi-cultural team environment
• Perform regular checks or tests on manufacturing equipment for proper operation.
• Inspect, maintain, diagnose, and repair machinery and equipment.
• Dissemble machinery and equipment and replace defective parts / components.
• Reassemble machinery and equipment and make final adjustments.
• Coordinate with Localization to fabricate tooling parts and components as required.
• Use a variety of hand and power tools, such as grinders, torches, hammers, and wrenches.
• Test machines after repair to ensure proper operation.
• Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment routinely.
• Order repair parts as needed.
• Record and maintain data of checks, tests, repairs, and daily reports.
• Work closely with production personnel on equipment repairs.
• Complete and satisfactorily pass forklift operator training provided by the company.
• Follow standard work instructions.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical training; exposure to high-speed equipment.
• 3+ years of related experience with heavy industrial machines/production machines.
• Experience with safe operation of overhead Cranes & heavy loads
