At Workday, we’re leading the way in revolutionizing how users interact with our enterprise cloud applications. Our UI Platform organization is responsible for developing the end-user facing layers of Workday products, which are used by over 65 million employees worldwide. Our team is at the forefront of developing platform solutions to provide enhanced user experiences for Workday users who process large amounts of information as part of their role.

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Software Engineering Manager to scale and lead our Experiences for Information Processing (EIP) group. As a Senior Software Engineering Manager, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping our EIP group in Dublin. You’ll collaborate with a talented team of Leaders, Engineers and Stakeholders to enhance user interactions within the Workday application. This is a great opportunity to lead and contribute to a dynamic and critically important platform in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role

•  Lead a successful multidisciplinary development team through complex technical challenges, delivering high-quality solutions that power Workday’s UI Platform technology at scale

• Collaborate with technology teams, product teams, UX specialists and team members to drive innovation and to create an extraordinary user experience together

About You

Basic Qualifications:

• You have an engineering leadership background involving large-scale enterprise systems with 5+ years in a leadership role

• Your track record involves experience with delivering performant, resilient solutions in a business-critical SaaS environment

• Proven ability to navigate technical complexity effectively, leading and guiding both Engineering Managers and Senior ICs through decision making, ideally with ownership of a platform serving multiple stakeholders

•  Strong communication, delegation and facilitation skills

• You define strategy & vision to inspire teams and deliver business impact
