As a member of this team, you will focus on developing and enhancing APIs and middleware solutions that integrate complex systems, enable seamless data flow, and support our enterprise-wide technology platform. Working closely with cross-functional teams, including product, infrastructure, and development groups, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of our technology and delivering solutions that drive efficiency and innovation. Your contributions will have a tangible and lasting impact on the success of our company.</p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong>Primary duties will include: </strong></p> <ul> <li>Work closely with front-end developers and UX/UI designers to ensure APIs meet the specific needs of front-end applications and deliver a seamless user experience.</li> <li>Participate in discussions around front-end requirements and provide input on API architecture to support optimized performance and responsiveness.</li> <li>Contribute to the architecture and design of enterprise API ecosystems, adhering to best practices and scalability requirements.</li> <li>Ensure middleware solutions are modular, reusable, and aligned with the StoneX technology strategy.</li> <li>Write comprehensive unit and integration tests for APIs and middleware components to ensure robust functionality.</li> <li>Collaborate with QA teams to automate testing and implement regression testing frameworks.</li> <li>Utilize CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Kubernetes, Azure DevOps) to deploy and monitor API and middleware services.</li> <li>Perform routine optimizations and scalability enhancements to ensure high availability.</li> <li>Actively participate in code reviews and share knowledge of API and middleware best practices.</li> <li>Provide technical input during backlog grooming and sprint reviews.</li> </ul> <h2>Qualifications</h2> <p><strong>To land this role you will need:</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of professional experience developing and maintaining APIs or middleware solutions in an enterprise environment.</li> <li>Proven experience in developing APIs for front-end applications with an emphasis on meeting specific requirements provided by UX/UI designers</li> <li>Proven experience building RESTful APIs with .NET (C#) or similar frameworks, including designing for scalability, security, and high availability.</li> <li>Familiarity with API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger/OpenAPI) and API management platforms.</li> <li>5+ years of experience working with relational databases (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server) and writing optimized queries, stored procedures, and schema designs.</li> <li>Experience with CI/CD tools and containerization technologies, such as Kubernetes or Docker, in production environments.</li> <li>Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, or similar technologies, with demonstrated skills in software architecture and design.</li> <li>Solid understanding of SOA principles and microservices architecture.</li> <li>Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a growth mindset.<strong> </strong></li> </ul> <p><strong>What makes you stand out:  </strong></p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of
