As the Accounting & Operations Manager, you will:

What You'll Do:

  • Oversee the work and drive performance of the Accounting Analyst position
  • Generate consolidated financial statements and complete disclosure and GAAP checklist, lock consolidated version
  • Identify and confirm events to trigger accrual posting per revenue recognition policy (e.g. confirmation of concert performance, delivery of contracted requirements, etc.) and regularly review accruals throughout the month to ensure accuracy
  • Continously monitor metrics, provide reccomendations and implement improvement to A/R and Cash Mgmt processes along with corrective action. This includes the preparation of periodic cash flow projections.
  • Record Other Consolidation Journal Entries - Completing necessary group adjustments including FX
  • Annual Transfer Pricing Review (Review). Review locally, regionally (if applicable) and by Global Finance to then submit to Tax department.
  • Process Local Tax Calculations and Journal Entries (Income Tax), Update tax provision template, ensuring local tax provisions and relevant inputs necessary to process journal entries are included
  • Record Tax Journal Entries (a. provide entry details)
  • Prepare and distribute statutory filings and shareholder reports
  • Govern audit relations, determine controls framework and consistently update Tax and Statutory audits on emerging changes in business operations
  • Reviews accounting and collection from JV deals
  • Ensure M&P Financial Supports are properly accounted for both the ones that travel through a PO and the ones that are handled ATL/BTL
  • Manage building operations, which include all building mgmt matters (cleaning, point of contact with building association and IT sourcing).

Who You Are:

Experience & Knowledge:

  • Bachelor’s degree with concentration in Finance or Accounting
  • Experience or solid understanding of working within a central finance function
  • Music or entertainment industry experience preferred
  • Public accounting experience a plus
  • Working knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting preferred

Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent analytical, verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • SAP strong working knowdldge
  • Advanced Excel skills – able to use pivot tables, v look ups, understand Macros
  • Excellent presentation skills, with an ability to present the data to management, including speaking to the trends and major drivers of the activity
  • Well organized, detail oriented with ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while managing multiple concurrent tasks
  • Knowledge of financial packages
  • Must demonstrate strong initiative
  • Team player, assisting others when required
