Division Profile

NBCUniversal is a leader in providing entertainment programming to the US and international marketplaces. The Global Television Distribution division is responsible for the distribution of NBCUniversal product to all forms of linear and digital media. This includes distribution of current and library theatrical movies, direct-to-video movies, documentaries, and specials, plus all forms of television product – scripted TV series, non-scripted TV series, mini-series, animation and TV movies.

Overview

The Sr. Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis is a critical role within the Global Distribution team. The role is responsible for providing support around revenue analysis, consolidation, and cash forecasting for over $6 billion in annual distribution revenue across all content owned by NBCUniversal. This role will report to the Director of Finance, manage a Senior Financial Analyst, and will work collaboratively across the Distribution Finance team, Corporate FP&A, Theatrical and Television Planning Groups, as well as other FP&A teams across NBCU Divisions (including Universal Pictures, DreamWorks Animation, Universal Television, Peacock, Telemundo, Bravo, E!, NBC News, NBC Sports, Sky Studios and more).

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of cash planning, analysis, and reporting across all planning cycles for over $5 billion in worldwide cash receipts (Annual Cash Budget, Estimates & Pacings).
  • Manage global consolidation and reporting process across all planning cycles for over $6 billion of revenue while performing variance analysis based on latest business trends and revenue projections.
  • Support communication of revenue & cash results to business President and CFO.
  • Act as business liaison with Corporate Cash FP&A and Controllership teams to analyse and interpret working capital, balance sheet & PnL posted activity correlated to free cash flow.
  • Lead, coach & develop Senior Financial Analyst to ensure timely execution on deliverables and promote professional growth.
  • Oversee monthly sales reporting process used during Global TVD President discussions to ensure visibility & accuracy around regional revenue forecasts.
  • Manage and build cash forecast models including intercompany & FX hedging schedules, corporate reporting templates and FCF submissions.
  • Provide analytical support for ad hoc reporting and special projects: top global customers, key deal analysis, regional (US/Europe/Asia/LatAm/Canada) revenue projections, etc.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in performing quantitative analysis, forecasting, and/or financial modeling.
