About the Role:
As the Manager, Global Campus Recruitment, you will be responsible for execution of our global internship and early career initiatives. This role requires strong influencing skills that will allow our internal leaders to be forward-thinking, innovative, and most importantly, inclusive, in their Intern/early talent hiring as it relates to their business objectives, areas of growth, and location strategy. You will be an advocate in promoting internships/early talent throughout the Dow Jones brands internally, as well as externally with the student community. Your expertise in developing strong university relationships will be paramount to the success of this program.
You Will:
Work with the VP, Talent Acquisition to execute business aligned campus recruitment strategies globally
Maintain strong relationships with Universities with consistent outreach throughout the calendar year, while focusing primary attention to our proven feeder schools
Work cross-functionally amongst the People Team COE's to ensure internship roles align with business objectives, are market competitive, and ensure internal managers are well-versed, and prepared to take on the role and responsibility of an intern manager at Dow Jones
Be responsible for communicating to your People Team COE's their client/businesses intern goals for the summer cohort, so they understand how they can in turn help to partner with you to create a successful program for the Business Units they support.
In collaboration with the Learning and Development team, ensure that the intern summer programming is equal parts educational, includes skills training, is project oriented, and has opportunities to foster relationship building with their class, business units, and leaders throughout the Dow Jones ecosystem.
Work with the Campus Recruiter to ensure the candidate experience throughout the recruitment life cycle is positive, streamlined and informative
Own and proactively present hiring teams with detailed weekly status updates/funnel reporting on their open intern roles which includes diversity metrics
Partner with the Campus Recruiter weekly to track pace, assess and understand feedback from HM's, and help recruiters with any nuanced situations
Liaise with our Learning and Development team to provide support to managers, offering resources like playbooks, training materials, and ongoing office hours
Lead the project management for onboarding, orientation, performance management, and conversion process primarily for Interns (and enhance processes for full-time early career hires that will come out of the intern class)
Work with the VP, Talent Acquisition to collaborate with our Dow Jones' ERG's to assist with recruitment, programming, events, and engagement
Successfully orchestrate and host campus recruitment events, as well as Intern cohort events throughout the summer program
Maintain strong relationships with our Intern cohort throughout the summer months so that we are ensuring that the BU-Intern engagement is consistent
Be a strong user of data driven metrics to review the program metrics with the VP, Talent Acquisition. Be able to use the data to tell a compelling story of the program's health (IE, wins or losses)
Travel 40%- throughout the calendar year covering campus relations, campus events and fairs
Be an advocate for and support inclusion efforts
You Have:
7+ years of full cycle, high volume recruitment experience, preferably within Early Careers
Subject matter expert in utilizing Handshake and Linkedin Recruiter for sourcing and event management
Ability to physically manage setting up/taking down equipment for live events
Comfortable and familiar in creating and delivery of presentations
Strong project management experience and consistently operates in a highly organized manner
