Internship for Strategic Advisory, Governance & Strategic Relations - MPM, Malaysia Petroleum Management, Menara Berkembar PETRONAS, KL

The Data & Analytics Intern will support the team in enhancing operational visibility and improving data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role involves hands-on work with dashboards, databases, and analytical tools to ensure stakeholders have access to accurate, timely, and well‑structured information.

• Develop Interactive Dashboards
  Assist in designing and building interactive dashboards that enhance operational visibility and performance tracking, ensuring data is presented clearly and effectively for stakeholders.
• Maintain and Enhance Databases
  Support the creation, maintenance, and improvement of internal databases, including structuring datasets, managing data fields, and ensuring overall data integrity.
• Data Cleaning & Preparation
  Perform data cleansing activities such as validating entries, removing duplicates, resolving inconsistencies, and standardizing formats to support accurate analysis and reporting.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  Work closely with various teams to gather requirements, understand technical needs, and ensure dashboards and databases accurately reflect operational processes and information.
• Update Analytical Tools & Reports
  Assist in refining existing analytics assets—including reports, dashboards, and data models—to align with current standards and evolving business needs.
• Ad‑Hoc Technical Support
  Provide on-demand technical and analytical support as assigned by the supervisor, which may include small automation tasks, system updates, or data extraction.
