Production Controller

V2X is growing! V2X is looking for a Production Controller to join our team! 

The Production Controller role is an entry-level position that supports work in process in the Manufacturing or Depot shop floor area.  The PC is responsible for monitoring material availability, ensuring the teams are working to the factory priorities, coordinating activities between different groups, and manages inventory on the shop floor.  Constantly communicates and provides status/updates on program progress to management as well as updates in SAP.  Works closely with the Supervisors and the Planners in execution of the MRP schedule.

Required Skills:

• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good organizational skills.
• Understanding of the application and concepts of Production Control include MRP (Demand/Supply) and Inventory Management.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize work.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge in systems application SAP/S4HANA.
• Knowledge of working government programs.

Education Requirements:

Associate in business, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Finance or equivalent degree.  Four years’ work experience may substitute for degree.
