About the role
We are seeking a Senior Associate Scientist I to support HPLC method development within our Analytical Development team. This role will focus on developing and improving analytical assays, as well as qualifying methods to ensure regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented, contributing to technical advancements within the group while maintaining a strong understanding of industry guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct HPLC method development for purity and impurity analysis.
- Optimize and improve existing analytical assays.
- Design and troubleshoot experiments for method development.
- Maintain good laboratory practices with strong documentation discipline.
- Support initiatives to enhance technical capabilities within the group.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry standards.
- Collaborate with a team of Principal Scientists and broader scientific support teams.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or PhD is acceptable).
- 1–3 years of experience in HPLC and assay development.
- Hands-on experience with HPLC techniques preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to follow SOPs with minimal supervision.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently.
- Industry or academic experience in analytical chemistry is acceptable.
- Proficiency in lab notebook documentation and data interpretation.
Experience:
- Experience in purity analysis using LC.
- Previous buffer preparation and method qualification experience.
- Strong collaborative teamwork skills and ability to take constructive feedback.

- Onsite role, Monday – Friday (no weekends).
- Immediate start available.
- 6-month contract, with possible extension through end of 2025.
