As a Senior Member of Technical Staff (Software Developer), you will design, develop, and troubleshoot software programs for databases, applications, and tools. **Cloud Engineering Infrastructure Development**

 

Basic Qualifications

• BS degree in Computer Science or related field
• 4-7 years’ distributed service engineering experience in a software development environment.
• Development experience in a modern programming language, such as Java, C++, C#
• Hands-on experience designing, developing, and operating public cloud service control planes.
• Deep understanding of object-oriented design specifically within a cloud environment
• Experience working closely with architects, principals, product, and program managers to deliver product features on time and with high quality.
• Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing services on a public cloud platform (e.g., OCI, AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Experience driving security reviews, documentation, UX reviews, and working with Product Managers from inception through launch.
• Experience and understanding of multi-AD/AZ and regional data centers.
• Building continuous integration/deployment pipelines with robust testing and deployment schedules

 

As a Senior Software Developer on this team, you will be a major contributor in the design and implementation of the service. You will partner with product team, learn about the existing challenges, and influence the vision and direction. You will complete the entire software lifecycle – development, testing, CI/CD and production operations. You must balance between product feature development and production operational concerns like writing run books, ops automation, structured logging, instrumentation for metrics and events maximizing internal tooling at OCI.
