Job Description
NBCUniversal’s Enterprise Product Team builds products that provide essential capabilities to organizations throughout NBCUniversal. The team leverages deep relationships with our business engagement and engineering counterparts to build cohesive, end-to-end solutions for their clients or users. The product portfolio is aligned around critical NBCU functions such as Content/Title Management, Data & Analytics, Scheduling & Distribution, and Content Sales.
As a part of the Enterprise Product team, you will direct a group of managers, product owners, and specialists to enhance and develop cross-functional products within the On-air Scheduling and Entitlements space. You will define the strategic vision for your area and be a thoughtful and experienced leader, who can communicate our business partners’ strategic vision into multi-year product roadmaps. You will lead large initiatives and tackle major problems within the organization that align with NBCUniversal’s long-term strategy.
Requirements:
Own the overall Technical Backbone for the Marketing & Fulfillment Supply Chain Product Strategy, accounting for future consolidations of legacy fulfillment workflows, as well as system migrations from on-prem to the cloud
- In collaboration with peers in Enterprise Product, Operations, Marketing, Engineering, and Ad Ops, define the E2E consolidation & migration strategy our content fulfilment workflows
- Oversee the execution of new launches and ensure concurrent legacy system shutdowns
- Contribute to strategic decisions across B2B & D2C business and ensure new product workflows are aligned with long-term product and technology objectives
- Own and govern best practices for supply chain orchestration as well and shared services for Video, Audio & Subtitle distribution.
- Deep understanding of cloud-based environments how they behave at an enterprise level.
- Develop and lead long term vision and strategy across the Product portfolio using cloud native tools and industry standard technology
- Define strategy for content platform consolidations, including domestic and international fulfillment
- Direct the execution of D2C content fulfillment, ensuring close collaboration with peers in other product, BE, and engineering verticals to deliver a solid end-to-end solution
- Direct the work of all Marketing and Fulfillment teams and establish an organizational structure to support business deliverables
- Assess org structure of dedicated new initiatives squads, with considerations for upcoming business asks of similar nature
- Manage a hybrid organization of managers and individual contributors across multiple time zones.
- Advise staff on the creation of 1-year roadmaps/plans and oversee cross-product execution
- Supervise and coach direct and indirect reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Development, Product Management or equivalent experience required
- 5+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of delivering complex multi-product solutions
- 5+ years of experience in a role demonstrating strong technical, quantitative, and analytical skills
- 5+ years of experience in a role exhibiting excellent written and oral communications, effective interpersonal skills, project management, and strong formal presentation abilities
- 5+ years of experience with Agile methodology, with a focus on leading multiple agile teams and managing cross-team dependencies
- Expertise in managing complex product rollouts
