We're working with a fast-growing renewable energy company based in Leuven is looking for a Software Engineer to join its expanding technology team. They're looking for someone who enjoys solving real-world problems and collaborating with others to create meaningful applications.<p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p><ul> <li>Designing and building Full-Stack web applications using React, Node.js and TypeScript </li> <li>Collaborating closely with product managers, designers and fellow engineers to deliver new features </li> <li>Improving application performance, scalability and overall user experience </li> <li>Writing well-tested, maintainable code and contributing to technical discussions and code reviews </li> <li>Helping shape the technical direction of new and existing products </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Commercial experience developing applications with React, Node.js and TypeScript </li> <li>A solid understanding of modern JavaScript development and Full-Stack architecture </li> <li>Experience working with REST APIs and integrating backend services </li> <li>Familiarity with GIT and collaborative development practices </li> <li>Someone who enjoys working as part of a team, communicates well and takes ownership of their work </li> <li>A proactive mindset and an interest in building technology that has a positive environmental impact </li> </ul> <br> Nice to have:<br> <ul> <li>Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP </li> <li>Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines or modern DevOps practices </li> <li>Experience working in Agile teams </li> <li>An interest in the renewable energy or sustainability sector </li> </ul>
