Senior II Backend Engineer - Integrations (m/f/d)

Your Mission

As a Senior II Backend Engineer - Integrations (m/f/d) at Adsquare, you will help us develop an ever-growing web based product and be responsible for building integrations with our partner platforms and distributed backend systems together with our highly skilled tech professionals. 

In this role you will: 

• Work in a self organised agile team with high level of autonomy and you will actively shape your team's culture

• Design and develop scalable backend solutions and optimise our existing high-performance infrastructure

• Develop complex integrations with third-party REST APIs and build big data pipelines to transfer terabytes of data

• Write Java/Kotlin code and either provision your restful services in AWS or deploy your solution to our on-premise K8s cluster

• Successfully partner up with our Product team to constantly develop further and improve our platform features

Your Profile

• Excellent communication skills and willingness to share knowledge in the team

• High proficiency in backend engineering, profound knowledge of Java and an understanding of the surrounding technology ecosystem

• Experience in building microservices and distributed systems also in a cloud environment

• Passion for building solutions in a cloud environment and willingness to provision them using Terraform or similar tools

• Experience in NoSQL databases and in high-throughput data-related architecture and technologies is a plus (e.g. Spark, MongoDB)

• Passion for writing clean, well-maintainable and testable code

• Experience with continuous delivery systems and build tools - we use GitLab and Gradle
