Bay Beach Veterinary Hospital is looking for an experienced LVT for our extremely low turn over General Practice! 

We utilize our LVTs to the fullest, so the ideal candidate must be a self-propelled, self-starter. We expect our technicians to set the flow and lead the staff through the shift, however we must be willing to take direction from others. We are a progressive practice and do our best to keep up as veterinary medicine and our community changes.

Our hospital offers free self-guided continuing education via the 4ACT platform, uniform allowance, employee pet discounts, health coverage, annual CE allowance and paid time off for full-time employees.  

Salary:   
$24-$30

Schedule: 

Full time (35 hours/week) variable schedule. Exact hours to be determined.  

The right candidate is: 

• Dependable-reliable to fulfill their shift and their duties within the shift
• Adaptable/flexible-enjoys doing work with others that requires frequent shifts in direction 
• Autonomous/Independent-enjoys working with little direction 
• Empathetic/Generous-helps both clients and staff with kind hands and compassion

Requirements:

• Licensed in the state of Virginia 
• GP experience preferred, but willing to mentor the right candidate  

Skills necessary:  

Venipuncture, IVC placement, anatomical knowledge, radiograph and anesthetic skill, medical math, pharmacological knowledge, willingness to learn and admit when direction is needed.
