With the best technology at your fingertips, you'll be part of a friendly and flexible working environment where your contribution is always valued. </p> <p>The role holder will be responsible and leading the design, implementation, testing and handing over to service operations security solutions based on BT’s security portfolio technologies. The role holder will be expected to ensure delivery of services to agreed timescales, and ensuring delivered services meet or exceed BT standards or what is contractually obligated to BTs customer. To make this happen, the job holder has the authority to engage other people within the unit or via matrix management as appropriate and assume the technical lead design role for the specific project.</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>You’ll have the following responsibilities</p> <p> </p> <p>The Security Specialist is responsible for designing and implementing security solutions in line with defined standards and processes within agreed timeframes and may also be asked to analyse and scope a migration plan based on client requirements</p> <p>- Live up to BTs values of being personal, simple, and brilliant</p> <p>- Own the outcome for BT’s customers and internal stakeholders</p> <p>- As a specialist demonstrate key BT leadership qualities</p> <p>- Maintain a very good understanding of key Security products (e.g. SASE solutions and Next Generation Firewalls) and become a Subject matter Expert in one or two technologies / vendor solutions</p> <p>- Owns assignments in the form of objectives or assigned work packages</p> <p>- The ability to engage with stakeholders to capture requirements and produce appropriate designs based on the stated requirements</p> <p>- Engage with key operational support stakeholders internally especially our colleagues in SOC</p> <p>- Provide technical assistance when required for solution implementation and fault diagnostics</p> <p>- Participate in professional communities and knowledge sharing to colleagues and internal teams</p> <p>- Work within a virtual team and typically expect to be working on more than one project</p> <p>- Work within short timescales, anywhere within Spain, and possibly outside Spain. Flexibility is essential in terms of -working hours and location. This includes attending customer premises</p> <p>- Keep relevant certifications up to date, attending BT product and technology seminars and briefings</p> <p>- Maintains a reputation for quality and delivery of their expertise to the business. </p> <p>- Assist the design and implementation manager in mentoring, guiding, and providing support to security professionals in the team</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Qualifications<br/>  </p> <p>- Must be a native Spanish speaker who can fluently speak English as a second language. (Other languages especially European languages such as Portuguese, French, and German would be advantageous but not essential)</p> <p>- Expert level knowledge in key security products. For this role that includes SASE and firewall products</p> <p>- Continue to learn and develop to understand the entire suite of security products and services, especially those offered by BT</p> <p>- Keep relevant certifications up to date, attending BT product and technology seminars and brief
