We act as a team, taking responsibility, building networks, and sharing our knowledge proactively: this is who we are at Airbus Aerostructures.</p><p></p><p>You will be part of our dedicated team of development engineers in the fuselage area for the primary/secondary structure of our aircraft. We take care of the continuous development of structural components for all Airbus aircraft programs and their derivatives. You will therefore be involved with your expertise from the concept study through detailed design to certification.</p><p></p><p><span>This role is also available with reduced weekly hours and an adapted scope of tasks.</span></p><p></p><h1><b><span>Your location</span></b></h1><p><span>You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. You always ensure compliance with regulations, relevant design principles, processes, methods and guidelines.</p></li><li><p>According to the release process you are responsible to guarantee the quality and airworthiness of our products.</p></li><li><p>You work closely with our engineering partners and suppliers and manage their activities</p></li><li><p>You think independently and actively about improvements and innovations in the field of digitalization and automation, develop appropriate suggestions and implement them taking all stakeholders and regulations into account.</p></li><li><p>You work in multifunctional teams together with structural analysis, production, program, project, config, systems, communicate actively and always find the best solution together with everyone.</p></li></ul><p></p><h1><span><b>Desired skills and qualifications</b></span></h1><ul><li><p>Qualification: You have successfully completed a technical degree or have acquired comparable training in another way.</p></li><li><p>Expertise: You have at least a basic understanding of metal, composite & hybrid design principles and best practices in design and have manufacturing and assembly experience including tolerance definition. You also have basic project management knowledge.</p></li><li><p>Toolset: You are familiar with CATIA V5 and it is a plus if you have already worked with PASS SSCI, VPM, APS and ICC-ACP.</p></li><li><p>Language skills: You are business-fluent in English and ideally also in German. </p></li><li><p>Personalit
