We are proud to have served the Tacoma and Pierce County communities since 1912. Job Purpose
Performs preventative and general maintenance on all TRM grounds and facilities, and assists with keeping the properties safe and in good repair

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Performs building maintenance, repairs, and inspections for properties owned and/or leased by TRM. • Prepares vacated apartments for new tenant occupancy.
- Ensures the beautification and safety of TRM properties through lawn and grounds maintenance.
- Completes and documents work requests in a timely manner.
- Interacts with clients, donors, businesses, volunteers, and interns.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support others and ensure an efficient and effective work environment
Working Conditions
Varied; travel required between locations; may be required to be outdoors in inclement weather and/or work irregular hours; interact with people from various backgrounds. Operates small equipment with dexterity. On-call duties as requested.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday 7:30am to 4pm
Primary Location of Work:
Office is at Adams Street Family Campus. Work performed frequently at all TRM sites.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Experience in facility maintenance or construction preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn new skills.
- Ability to operate with dexterity tools and machinery including but not limited to: hand tools, power tools, mower, truck with hydraulic tail gate, and forklift.
- Ability to work with diverse populations, demonstrating compassionate understanding.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships and foster teamwork in a diverse environment using effective and thoughtful interactions and communication.
- Clear and effective written, verbal, and electronic communication.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs.
