About the RoleMadison Logic is powering the global digital transformation in B2B Marketing. We are looking for an innovative, experienced VP of Engineering with expertise in building scalable applications and systems using cutting edge technologies and in managing global engineering teams. Success in this role requires a strong product background with a track record for driving new product capabilities to successful delivery across a multi-discipline ecosystem. 
Reporting to the CTO, this individual will be responsible for leading Madison Logic’s engineering strategy, mentoring and scaling the engineering team, adhering to process, and working collaboratively with the product team.  In this role, you will be responsible for adopting new tools, processes, establishing roadmaps and strategies and providing executive updates. This leader will work closely with the CTO to develop a comprehensive and pragmatic enterprise product engineering roadmap focused on automation and enhancing the capabilities of our products.

What You'll Do:

• Own and drive our product and platform engineering and roadmap
• Execute on our product strategy working cross-functionally with leaders across the business to identify and deliver analytics that drive business results
• Lead, grow, and retain an expanded team of developers, DevOps, and QA professionals and work closely with program management to ensure progress
• Advocate new methodologies, tools and design paradigms and drive our strategy towards the cookie-less web
• Work closely with marketing, product, and the executive team to rollout and launch products
• Present engineering strategy and key findings to executives and other departments
• Work directly with the CTO in continuously improving the company’s strategy
• Enforce advanced process governance, security, and engineering practices
• Collaborate with the data and machine learning teams for automation and data enrichment capabilities
• Keep pace with the latest developments in academia, regulatory environment, risk modeling methods, and the advertising/marketing industry to provide expert guidance to the business functions
• Work closely with the product teams and participate in sprint planning sessions
• Collaborate with other teams inside Madison Logic and interface with Senior Management
• Adhere strictly to agile methodologies
• Participate in tech designs and also be a hands-on architect
• Coach members of your team to perform better
• Develop an understanding of our overall platform
• Communicate status effectively
• Motivate members of your team and be genuinely interested in their growth

About You | Basic Qualifications

• University Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related technical discipline, advanced degree strongly preferred
• 12+ years of professional experience in a related discipline
• 3+ years of experience directly leading and managing medium sized teams, including managers
• 3+ years of experience in the Adtech/Martech industry preferred 
• 3+ years of experience communicating with executive management
• Experience using AWS tools
• Expert (4+yrs experience) knowledge of programming languages such as Node.JS, Angular, Java
• Experience with common frameworks for developing and testing code
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Domo etc
