About the Team
The Risk Product department is seeking an experienced Product leader to lead the strategic transformation of model risk technology platform (Model One). You will be part of a dynamic team that is on a mission to “Transform Risk Management with technology that is so good that they are in demand across the company”. This means going way beyond building Model One in a modern way to enabling how people perform model risk activities.
You will be a key member of the Risk Product-Tech-Design leadership team and also partner closely with AIML leadership team and Model Risk Management business stakeholders. In this role, you will gain exposure to the inner workings of the model development lifecycle at Capital One. You will be involved with enabling change that will touch every line of business at Capital One and ensuring that we do so with excellence - combining innovation, user experience, and well managed outcomes.
Solid people leadership experience is a must to leverage and amplify the capabilities of a high-performing team. You should foster innovation, drive critical decisions, hold business partners accountable, and be able to consistently deliver results. Strong communication skills and stakeholder management with senior executives are essential to succeeding in this role. We’re looking for a candidate who works well in the midst of rapid change and growth - flexibility, adaptability in a dynamic environment.

Basic Qualifications:
At least 7 years of experience working in Product Management
Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
Experience with workforce or HR technology

The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
