2025 Summer Intern, Cybersecurity

Position SummaryThe 9-week, paid internship program is an opportunity to expand your knowledge of various critical aspects of cybersecurity operations. This role offers a comprehensive learning experience and the opportunity to work with advanced cybersecurity tools and technologies. Work alongside experienced cybersecurity professionals and enhance your technical skillset and knowledge in a hands-on, dynamic environment.  This role is based in New York, NY.  Primary Responsibilities·         Monitor endpoints and email systems to detect potential security threats·         Identify, analyze, and investigate security alerts·         Assist in the response to security incidents, including containment, eradication, and recovery efforts·         Participate in the identification and management of system vulnerabilities to enhance our security posture Qualifications·         Current students enrolled in an undergraduate program, graduating between Winter 2025 – Summer 2026·         Pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science or a related field·         Knowledge of security frameworks, standards and best practices preferred·         Demonstrated track record of academic success and/or professional pursuits·         High degree of personal and professional maturity·         Excellent interpersonal and communication skills·         Strong organizational and prioritization skills·         Intellectual curiosity and confidence to take initiative·         Exceptional work ethic and a deep sense of accountability·         Ability to work well independently and as part of a team·         Interest in wealth managementAbout Focus Financial PartnersFocus is a leading partnership of fiduciary wealth management and related financial services firms.
