The McKinney Consolidated Manufacturing Center (CMC) is seeking a qualified individual to lead, shape and advance the Proposal and Capture initiatives for its make centers (or factories). McKinney CMC is composed of several make centers with a charter to be the premier Electro-Optical/Infrared technology manufacturer and integration center for Raytheon an RTX Company. This individual will support the strategic initiatives that will support McKinney CMC's goals to meet customer commitments, exceed cost targets and drive investments and growth. This position interfaces closely with the factory and program teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in proposal management, excellent communication skills, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. They will also have experience working with cross -functional teams. This position will be responsible for ensuring that all factory proposals are well-constructed, completed within the established timeline, compliant in all the necessary requirements, and have been approved by THE factory leadership. This position will require collaboration between other North Texas make centers to ensure the proper cross-factory requirement alignments are captured and driven through the capture process.
What You Will Do
Interface with programs, operations, and supply chain leads to anticipate and communicate demand and bids to factory management and cost estimating teams in preparation for proposals.
Lead proposal activity across the factory.
Networks with senior internal and external personnel in their own area of expertise on issues and represents the organization as a prime contact on key issues.
Ensure that all details of a project are accurate and organized.
Identify risk and opportunities as well as mitigation plans.
Coordinate activities across the factory, and collaborate with Program Operations, Engineering, Manufacturing, Contracts, Supply Chain, Quality, and Finance
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum of 5 years experience
1+ year of experience with proposal activities including basis of estimates and pricing tools
EVMS Certification
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
Program Management Certified Level 6 or Equivalent
Proven team-builder with demonstrated strong leadership, coordination, and people/interpersonal skills
Excellent presentation and communication skills to senior leadership
Excellent record of progressively more responsible leadership roles
Demonstrated ability to formulate relationships and influence customer requirements
Business and financial acumen, strong analytical and problem solving skills, reliability and sound judgment
Ability to articulate complex issues into succinct, cohesive summaries and presentations. Experience building Executive briefings; advanced in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
