Manager, Global Strategic Deployment

 

JOB SUMMARY

As a Global Strategic Deployment Manager, you will leverage advanced business knowledge and experience for planning, organizing, and implementing large-scale, global commercial initiatives.  Responsibilities include planning, deployment and setting initiatives up to be scaled and sustained over time.  Focusing on complex multi-workstream project management, mitigation plans, facilitating and orchestrating different operating mechanisms and meetings, effective change enablement, stakeholder engagement, training and communication. 

 

The scope of this role will have equal focus on effective and efficient process development along with deploying the appropriate solutions (i.e. global enterprise contract mgmt. system, configure price quote software).  Working collaboratively with a cross-functional core team to improve and simplify existing processes, practices and systems before deploying new solution(s).  Interfacing with ITS and Digital Transformation Teams to represent business requirements and shared timeline for development and implementation.  Global programs to include developing and deploying an enterprise-wide contract management system, configure-price-quote capabilities, etc.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Lead the development of the overall business implementation plan with key milestones, success measures and ownership
  • Develop RASI to identify and clarify roles and responsibilities throughout development of solution, implementation and adoption cross the enterprise and globally
  • Manage the plan and sub-workstreams to ensure key milestones are met on time and with quality outcomes
  • Oversee vendor and IT task integration and responsibilities when applicable
  • Identify and work with key stakeholders and different functions to manage and mitigate risk to the overall implementation plan and escalate for awareness, action and accountability
  • Facilitate meetings and workshops to develop and provide ongoing support for implementation plan, ensure alignment and understanding, readiness across stakeholder groups, etc.
  • Assess priorities, sequencing and parallel path regularly to ensure accountability, progress and urgency
  • Work with cross-functional teams to map “as-is” processes, “to-be” processes and system workflows, develop “walk across plan” to facilitate the shift from current to future state
  • Guide the development of requirements gathering, user behaviors, fit gap assessment, system and process changes required to achieve the new “to-be” capability
  • Identify opportunities for process efficiency and consistency, improved outcomes and more modern ways of working prior to our because of shift from manual processes to an automated system with new functionality by partnering with key stakeholders cross-functionally and globally
  • Consistently demonstrate and model key organizational behaviors of respect, creativity, quality and care along with collaboration, growth mindset, systems thinking and operational excellence

  • Coordinate training and change management plans with core team and local champions in support of succes
